ADOPTED!!! Ginger- an adoptable cat

Image
ADOPTED ! Ginger is not nearly as spicy as her name suggests. She is sister to Patches Mustatches and also spend the first year of her life living in the woods of Warran County, after their pregnant mom was dumped there. Barely a year old, Ginger found herself pregnant and gave birth to her first (and last) litter of kittens (Ginseng, Ginko, Cheetah, Cheeto and Chester). Ginger is named after the senior citizen who contacted us seeking help with, and a better life for, these cats. Ginger is shy with humans, but affectionate and tolerates petting and handling; she is learning how to live in a house and is unsure about dogs (but not dog aggressive). She is cat social and would do best in a home with at least one other cat. She is mellow and sweet, low energy and low maintenance. She has a beautiful coat and a sweet demeanor and with a little time and patience, will spend the rest of her life making someone a great companion.  She is about one year old, spayed, up to date on shots, FIV co

ADOPTION PENDING! Mr. Patches Mustatches spent his first year living in the woods of Warren County with his sister and his mom, after his mother was dumped there while pregnant. This debonaire man about town doesn't let this get him down!  He is charming and knows he is handsome, but doesn't require lots of attention. He is learning to live in a regular home, with cats and dogs. He is reserved but playful, cat social, neutral with medium and low energy dogs, and is generally a low maintenance and a low energy cat. He would do best in a home with at least one other cat.He is fully vetted, neutered, UTD on shots, FIV combo test negative. About 1 year old.

These 3 local brothers - Bear, Yoda and Pepper- found themselves homeless as kittens. A kind soul took them in, loved them, and socialized them so they could find homes. They are very playful and affectionate, loving people and cats. They have never been around dogs. All are neutered, fiv combo test negative and current in their shots.  Their antics will delight and entertain you! TWO HAVE BEEN ADOPTED (BEAR AD PEPPER) ONLY YODA IS LEFT!!!

ADOPTED!! Destiny- an adoptable cat, currently at Benson's Pet Center in Clifton Park

Image
DESTINY IS ADOPTED!  Sometimes when you have nothing, you realize how little it takes to be content. Destiny came to rescue after being dumped with her babies on a rural farm last year. Her kittens have long since found homes, but Destiny is still waiting. She is quiet, mellow and low maintenance- all she wants is a safe and comfortable place to nap and hang out. She is cat friendly, spayed, current in shots and would do best in a quiet home. Please help Destiny put her difficult past behind her, so she can find the loving home she so deserves.

ADOPTED!!! Rembrandt- an adoptable cat, currently at Benson's Pet Center in Clifton Park

Image
Like the artist for whom he is named, Rembrandt's later years have been hard. At age ten, he found himself at a local shelter. No place for such a gentle, loving soul with so many good years left. He is friendly, affectionate, and low-key. He is now in rescue via Rottie Empire R escue. He is neutered, current in shots, and cat friendly- come meet the cat who has raised dispensing cat affections to an art form!  (Rembrandt has a minor heart murmur which does not require medication but causes his eyes to water).

Brady- an adoptable cat, in foster in the Capital District

Image
Brady is STILL waiting???  Brady is about 18 months old, and spend most of his first year as a homeless street kitten. Brady has really blossomed into a fun, playful social cat while in foster in his first actual home. He waits outside the bedroom door in the morning, and when his foster mom comes out- Game On!. He tries to engage her in play in any way he can!  He loves to play, and would do best in a home with at least one playful cat. He is cat social and mixed energy (playful but not high energy). He has not been around dogss. Although not a lap cuddler, he does enjoy petting and like to hang out with his human. He is neutered, fiv combo test negative and up to date on shots. Brady's beginning was very hard - are you the one who will make sure his best days are yet to come?
